Earn Mechanism
TTB Absolute offers a straightforward and rewarding points system based on TTB Reward Points. Based on your spending, you can earn at the following rates
- Base Earning Rate: Earn 1 TTB Rewards Plus point for every 20 baht spent on eligible purchases
- Online Spending Bonus: Receive 2x points (i.e., 1 point per 10 baht spent) for all online transactions, including e-commerce, travel bookings, and digital subscriptions
You can see how this earn mechanism works in the examples below:
Scenario 1 | Spend: 8,000 baht at Central Points earned: 400 points |
Scenario 2 | Spend: 5,000 baht on AirAsia app Points earned: 500 points |
Scenario 3 | Spend: 4,000 baht at Lotus’s + 6,000 baht on AirBnB Points earned: 800 points total |
One thing to be aware of is the monthly cap on point accumulation. In the case of TTB Absolute, there is a common cap across both general and bonus categories at 200,000 TTB Rewards Plus points per billing cycle. This means that irrespective of the categories in which the points are earned, once you exceed the monthly cap of 200,000 TTB Rewards Plus points, you will no longer earn any more points.
Maximum Spending Eligible for Points
Cap Type | Common |
General | 333,333 baht per billing cycle |
Online | 166,667 baht per billing cycle |
Collecting Miles
One of the most popular ways to use your TTB Rewards Plus points is to convert them into airline miles. Miles can be redeemed for free flights, seat upgrades, or even priority services—making them a favorite redemption option for savvy travelers. So whether you're planning a weekend getaway or saving for a long-haul trip, those points you earn every time you tap your card can take you further than you think.
While converting TTB Rewards Plus points into airline miles is a great way to unlock travel perks, it’s important to note that you’re limited to TTB’s official airline transfer partners:
Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus | Rate: 5 TTB Rewards Plus points = 1 ROP mile Minimum Transfer: 2,500 points |
Bangkok Airways FlyerBonus | Rate: 3 TTB Rewards Plus points = 1 FlyerBonus point Minimum Transfer: 3,000 points |
AirAsia AirAsia Rewards | Rate: 5 TTB Rewards Plus points = 1 AirAsia point Minimum Transfer: 2,500 points |
Singapore Airlines Krisflyer | Rate: 5 TTB Rewards Plus points = 1 KF mile Minimum Transfer: 2,500 points |
Note: For ease of comparison, all examples would refer to Thai Airways ROP miles unless otherwise stated.
Based on the points earn rate, we can infer the following miles earn rate for TTB Absolute:
General Spending | 1 ROP mile for every 60 baht spend |
Online Spending | 1 ROP mile for every 30 baht spend |
Getting Cashback
Spending Overseas
When you use a credit card overseas, your purchases are charged in a foreign currency and then converted to Thai Baht. This conversion comes with a foreign exchange (FX) spread or fee—a hidden cost many cardholders overlook.
Most banks add a 2.5% to 3.5% FX spread on top of the exchange rate provided by Visa or Mastercard. That means if you spend ฿10,000 worth abroad, you could be paying up to ฿350 just in currency conversion fees.
TTB Absolute is one of the few cards in Thailand that charges only a 1% FX fee, significantly lower than the standard market rate. Here's why that matters:
For example, you spend 30,000 baht on an overseas trip.
Rate | Total Fee Paid | |
TTB Absolute | 1% | 300 baht |
Typical Card | 2.5% | 750 baht |
With TTB Absolute, you'd save 450 baht on that single purchase. Over multiple trips or large international transactions, those savings really add up—making it a smart choice for travelers and frequent online shoppers alike.

Guests accompanying the cardholder may be allowed entry; however, they will typically be charged a fee, which varies depending on the lounge. It's recommended to check the specific lounge's guest policy and fees in advance.
Now, the next question may be “what lounges can I use in Bangkok”? For that, we’ve compiled a list of lounges available for LoungeKey holders at Suvarnabhumi Airport:

TTB supplementary cards do allow points to be pooled into the primary cardholder’s account. This means all spending across both the main and supplementary cards contributes to a single reward point balance. Pooling points from TTB supplementary cards is great because it helps you accumulate rewards faster and simplifies redemption by combining all spending into one account.
For example, if both you and your spouse spend ฿15,000 per month, you’ll earn points as if you spent ฿30,000—reaching travel or cashback rewards much quicker.
